On Friday, February 11th, the Eisenhower High School Jazz Ensemble took part in the 49th annual Phi Mu Alpha/Central Michigan University Jazz Weekend.  The festival featured over many of the best high school jazz bands and combos from around the state of Michigan.

The band played extremely well and represented IKE Bands with pride! As part of the group’s overall excellent performance, the Eisenhower HS Jazz Ensemble was recognized in the AA classification by earning Second Runner-Up for Outstanding Band AND Brian Simasko earned First Runner-Up for Outstanding Soloist!! Congrats – we are SO proud of your hard work and dedication!
